     Elizabeth “Beth” Vann is a member of Duckor Spradling Metzger & Wynne’s employment and business litigation practice groups. Beth represents clients in a wide variety of civil areas including employment, business, general liability, and wage and hour class action litigation.

     Beth made her transition to the private practice of law with Duckor Spradling Metzger & Wynne after acquiring extensive litigation experience representing government agencies and officials at the federal, state, and municipal levels. Most recently with the Office of Chief Counsel of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, Beth litigated cases involving wrongful termination, non-selection, harassment, discrimination, and security clearance matters. Beth also has substantial experience litigating constitutional and state law claims concerning due process, unlawful arrest, excessive force, freedom of speech, malicious prosecution, and immunity issues. She also has considerable experience defending personal injury, wrongful death, and premises liability claims.

     Beth has taken several matters to jury verdict in state and federal courts, and has conducted a number of hearings before the U.S. Merit Systems Protection Board and various other administrative tribunals.

     Beth received her B.A. summa cum laude from the Ohio University in 1992 and her J.D. from Capital University Law School in 1995. She is admitted to the state bars of California, Ohio, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
