Marisa Janine-Page is a member of Duckor Spradling Metzger & Wynne’s employment and business litigation practice groups. Marisa’s practice consists primarily of complex business and employment litigation with an emphasis on securities and class actions. Marisa has successfully represented her clients in a number of high-profile cases, including cases involving securities fraud, oil and gas development fraud, unfair competition law, employment discrimination and government liability. Marisa received her Juris Doctor degree from Duke University School of Law in 1998, where she participated in the Business and Securities Law Association and the Prisoner Rights Project. She earned her undergraduate degree in the double majors of Legal Studies and Political Science from the University of California at Berkeley, where she graduated magna cum laude in 1995. Prior to college and pursuing her legal career, Marisa practiced for nine years in the financial investment industry where she was an accomplished fixed income securities trader. Marisa has lived in the San Diego community for thirteen years with her husband and one son. She is actively involved in her community, including Little League and AYSO, as well as a liaison to Southern California’s only free-standing midwifery birthing center. Marisa also serves on the board of Women’s Health International, a nonprofit corporation, and is an active member of the State Bar of California and Association of Business Trial Lawyers, where she sits on the Board of Governors and serves as chair of the annual program planning committee.
